Description

Cryptic is a Glasgow-based producing arts house, founded in 1994, that creates and tours multimedia and multi-sensory performance work combining music, sonic art, and visual and digital arts across concert halls, galleries, industrial sites and digital platforms. A not for profit company and Scottish charity, it works with pioneering and emerging artists at all career stages, supporting mid-career musicians through its Cryptic Artists strand and mentoring emerging Scotland-based artists through Cryptic Nights. It produces Sonica, a biennial international festival of sonic and audiovisual art staged across venues in Glasgow, and it is one of the regional delivery partners of the UK-wide Immersive Arts programme.
