Use our API

We have made available a public application programming interface (API). This gives public access to our data about arts and humanities infrastructures in the UK.

What's an API?

An API is a software intermediary that allows two applications to talk to each other. APIs are an accessible way to extract and share data within and across organisations.

Why an API?

Developers and data analysts can use our API to build other websites, applications and services.

You are free to explore and analyse the data in more detail. We love to hear about what you build and learn.

Our dashboard page, shows some simple data visualisations powered by our API.

More about our API

See our API documentation and code examples.

Alternatively you can contact the project team at mapping@sas.ac.uk.
