Dreaming Methods
ActiveDescription
Dreaming Methods is a UK immersive arts studio, established in 2021 and based in Wakefield, that creates original narrative-led work across digital fiction, games, virtual reality, mixed reality and interactive media. It explores memory, place and social experience through spatial storytelling and emerging technologies, with a practice rooted in electronic literature that traces back to the late 1990s. It develops work with cultural venues, festivals, universities and archives, and produces and hosts an online archive of earlier experimental digital fiction. Its founders also lead the arts charity One to One Development Trust, from which the studio's practice originally grew.
