Description

arebyte is a digital art centre and registered charity, founded in 2013 and based in London, that explores how emerging technology shapes contemporary culture and human experience. It presents exhibitions and public programmes working with artists across artificial intelligence, game engines, virtual environments and other emerging technologies, and commissions web based work through its online platform, which reaches a large international audience each year. Alongside its gallery programme it provides affordable artist studios and creative workspaces across two London sites, sustaining its charitable work through a cross subsidy model. After more than a decade in east London, it opened a new digital art centre in Camden in 2025, while retaining studios on London City Island. Its programme is supported through project funding from Arts Council England.
