Oxford Interfaith Forum

Description

Oxford Interfaith Forum is a global interfaith, intercultural, and interdisciplinary organisation.

It facilitates collaboration between academia, professionals, and policymakers worldwide by exploring various academic disciplines in interfaith contexts with interdisciplinary lenses. The Forum acknowledges that interfaith cooperation is the key to transforming a religiously diverse society into a more just, kind, and pluralistic nation. We aim to educate the next generation about a multifaith world, and equip them with vision, knowledge, and skills for engaging positively with complex diversity issues in religious worldviews.

Our signature programme consists of the twelve Thematic International Interfaith Reading Groups in the following fields:

• Art in Interfaith Contexts
• Eastern Christianity in Interfaith Contexts
• Ecology in Interfaith Contexts
• Eschatology in Interfaith Contexts
• Manuscripts in Interfaith Contexts
• Mysticism in Interfaith Contexts
• Peacebuilding in Interfaith Contexts
• Philosophy in Interfaith Contexts
• Psalms in Interfaith Contexts
• Sacred Texts in Interfaith Contexts
• Science and Religion in Interfaith Contexts
• Womanhood in Interfaith Contexts
