Since its establishment in 2013, TORCH has supported approximately 50 research networks. These networks bring together researchers from various career stages, fostering interdisciplinary discussions on cultural, aesthetic, social, and political issues, historical periods, and methodologies. The Networks scheme, which provides support for up to two years, promotes collaborations among scholars in the Humanities Division, as well as the Social Sciences, Medical Sciences, and MPLS Divisions. By cultivating new communities and encouraging expansive modes of thinking, TORCH Networks contribute to addressing significant academic questions across disciplines.
