Un.censor.ing: Cultural Heritage Network is a network in the Department of Digital Humanities at King's College London that brings together institutional and independent partners, including artists, filmmakers, activists, curators and academics, to create and share critical work on censorship through research, artwork, archives and case studies. It starts from the observation that digital technology both safeguards cultural heritage and enables data-driven surveillance, so that the making of cultural memory is increasingly subject to new forms of suppression and fabrication, and it treats censorship as present within democratic and liberal systems as well as in dictatorships.

The network defines censorship broadly, taking in self-censorship, memory-altering, digital surveillance, anonymity, online harassment, platform censorship and automation driven by artificial intelligence. Its activity has included an online symposium on censorship, archives and cultural heritage in March 2024, film screenings with discussions in 2024 and 2025, and an exhibition on Ukraine at Europe House in 2025.
