Hebridean Connections

Hebridean Connections is a not-for-profit company and registered charity that publishes a shared online database of historical and genealogical material from the Outer Hebrides. Formed in 2011 by a group of local historical societies, it brings together records, photographs, family trees and place-name material contributed by fourteen comainn eachdraidh across Lewis, Bernera, Berneray and North Uist, and makes them searchable in one place. It is run by volunteers and governed by a board drawn from the contributing societies.
