Lighthouse, Brighton

Active

Description

Lighthouse is a Brighton-based arts charity, founded in 1986, that supports young people aged 16 to 30 to build careers in the creative industries, with a focus on those facing systemic barriers to access. Working at the intersection of art, technology and society, it runs exhibitions, artwork commissions, artist residencies for artists working with digital technology, mentoring and youth-led talent-development programmes from its venue in Brighton's North Laine. It grew out of a film and video arts organisation and continues to champion equitable pathways into the sector for a new generation of creatives.
