The UK Environmental Law Association is a membership-based registered charity and UK forum for everyone interested in the meeting point of law and the environment, ranging from practitioners to students. Its stated aims are to make better law for the environment and to raise understanding and awareness of environmental law. Its charitable objects cover promoting the enhancement and conservation of the UK environment for public benefit and advancing public education in the development, teaching, application and practice of environmental law. The Association fosters collaboration across the field and provides an independent expert voice, including through responses to government consultations, calls for evidence and inquiries.
