Environmental Law Foundation (ELF)
Description
The Environmental Law Foundation (ELF) is a national charity that secures free legal help and advice for individuals and communities facing environmental threats. It draws on in-house expertise, a network of specialist lawyers and technical experts who act without charge, and a UK network of around 20 university law schools, supporting environmental law clinics through casework, research, and the training of future environmental lawyers. ELF helps the public access justice and participate in environmental decision-making, and supports communities to use the law to protect and restore nature.
