MigrationOxford
Description
Migration Oxford is a network that unites academics researching migration and mobility at the University of Oxford. It encourages interdisciplinary dialogue and collaborations among various research centres, divisions, and departments. Established in 2017 as the Migration and Mobility Network, it has received generous support from The Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities (TORCH). Since 2019, it has been hosted by the Global Exchange on Migration and Diversity, the knowledge exchange division of the Centre on Migration, Policy, and Society (COMPAS).
Migration Oxford organises networking events and interdisciplinary academic gatherings. It also shares relevant opportunities and calls of interest through its newsletter. The initiative aims to enhance access to the university's migration and mobility expertise and research by featuring scholars' profiles on its website and hosting podcasts. By doing so, it facilitates knowledge exchange between scholars and the general public.
