Water Engineering Group

Description

The Water Engineering Group undertakes research at a range of scales from Kolmogorov to Continental, with its work spanning the fundamental physics of water science, water chemistry and treatment, and associated management and policy issues.

The group is closely associated with the Water Engineering and Development Centre (WEDC), which was founded more than 50 years ago to address the issues of providing safe water and sanitation in low- and middle-income countries.

The group plays a leading international role in the academic discipline with several staff holding editorial positions with the major journals in water science and engineering.
