The Centre for the History of Philosophy (CHiPhi) ranks amongst the largest UK scholarly groups in the discipline of philosophy's history. Established in 2009 through funding from the White Rose University Consortium, CHiPhi amalgamates extensive expertise from several Northern English universities, fortifying research and teaching in this domain. Its member institutions comprise the Universities of Durham, Leeds, Liverpool, Sheffield, and York. As a significant collective of scholars in the philosophical history sector, CHiPhi strives to foster an international network that enhances research and spreads its findings via collaborative endeavours, projects, and pedagogy.
