Digital Environment Research Institute (DERI)
Description
The newly created Digital Environment Research Institute (DERI) is the centre of digital, data science, and AI research at Queen Mary, bringing together experts from across the Faculties of Humanities and Social Sciences, Science and Engineering and the School of Medicine and Dentistry.
The Institute creates new knowledge and shares impactful results to support UK leadership in the digital space. Furthermore, it collaborates with academic and industry partners worldwide, hosting regular seminars, workshops and sandpit sessions to foster innovation.
DERI sits within an outstanding ecosystem with strong links to the Alan Turing Institute, the University Enterprise Zone and East London’s Tech City, a vibrant cluster of high-tech companies.
