Centre for the Study of Modern Christianity

Description

The Centre for the Study of Modern Christianity aims to produce high quality research on Christianity in Britain and internationally. It is run by a team from Cranmer Hall, an Anglican theological college which is part of St John’s College, Durham.

The Centre draws together expertise and resources to produce academically rigorous and theologically informed research on church growth. Such research includes local and national studies within the UK, but also explores church growth worldwide.

The centre recently re-launched under new branding on 1 January 2022, having previously operated as the Centre for Church Growth Research since 2012.
