Northern Network for Empirical Music Research (NEMuR)

NEMuR is a group of researchers in the North of England who are engaged in empirical research that is on, with, or for music and musicians. NEMuR's research comes from various interdisciplinary backgrounds, including Music Psychology, Music Education, Audience Studies, Performance Studies, or Media Studies.
NEMuR has set these objectives:
- to increase communication and exchange between close music psychology/empirical music research hubs in the North of England,
- to encourage research collaboration between the network's varied disciplines and expertises across these institutions,
- to share teaching experience.
