War Crimes Research Group (WCRG)

Description

The War Crimes Research Group conducts research and teaching on war crimes – understood in the broadest sense – and war. The group aims to provide a hub for researchers and practitioners working on these issues across a range of disciplines, and its membership includes scholars, practitioners, policy-makers and others outside King’s.

Broadly, the group's research spans three overlapping strands: International Law and War, encompassing aspects of law in relation to security and armed conflict; War and War Crimes, encompassing the relationships between law, war, strategy, ethics and crime; and Transitional (or post-atrocity) Justice, encompassing the range of judicial and non-judicial mechanisms for accountability.

You can read WCRG’s blog here.
