Centre for Early Modern Studies, KCL

Description

The Centre for Early Modern Studies was established in 2015 to promote research in the early modern period (understood, here, in its broadest sense as 1400-1700). The centre aims to facilitate interdepartmental and interdisciplinary research projects, and to support and develop innovative graduate study in the field. As a Centre, members are committed not only to promoting a historical understanding across a broad range of cultures, but to thinking through the present in historically-informed ways.
