Research Group in Global Corporate Law (RGGCL)

Description

The Research Group in Global Corporate Law (RGGCL), based at The City Law School, is an international centre of excellence for research and scholarship, teaching and legal practice dedicated to global issues in corporate and commercial law.

The RGGCL brings together a vibrant network of scholars, researchers and legal professionals whose interests and expertise centre on current and critical issues relating to the operation and evolution of corporate and commercial laws in global markets.

Its work examines and engages, in particular, the following three themes:

  • The evolution of established and emerging forms of corporate ownership.
  • Global challenges in corporate governance systems and international supply chains.
  • The interaction between corporations, law and regulation in global markets.
