Politics of Culture and Memory

Description

Politics of Culture and Memory is a research group that brings together expertise across disciplines and languages and seeks to bring knowledge to public use. The group forms part of the Department of Politics, Languages and International Studies.

The group's research focuses on different form of identity, cultural difference and expression in order to understand what makes a fair society and how to build one. Through a multitude of projects and international collaborations such as the UNREST Consortium or the CO-CREATION Network, it creates opportunities for knowledge exchange with partners beyond academia including museums, charities, non-governmental organisations and communities locally and internationally.
