Description

Sound Practice and Research at City St George's (SPARC) explores how creative sound practice, the study of sound and sound's role within multisensory experience can be used to address contemporary challenges, from health to the environment. The centre's activities fall into two research clusters: Communities, Health and Well-being, and Innovative Sound Practices. SPARC Lab, based in the Department of Performing Arts, supports research in immersive sound, image and movement. SPARC hosts public Music Research Seminars with the Department of Performing Arts.
