Description
CARIAD is an established centre of excellence in applied research and knowledge transfer. CARIAD is making an important contribution to society - meeting the needs of Wales and wider, international communities through research, products and services. CARIAD is the only pan University Research Centre in which interdisciplinary collaboration informs research and innovation as well as learning and teaching. Through regular Cwtch events and workshops, CARIAD provides a hub for established academics, emerging researchers and postgraduate students to explore broad issues such as ethical design, participatory arts, compassionate design, responsive media and design for society, in the context of real world, applied research projects. As an interdisciplinary team CARIAD offers accessible, flexible, inclusive postgraduate pathways though the CARIAD MRes, the Professional Doctorate and PhD programmes.
