Interculturality for diversity and global learning aims to foster international and multi-disciplinary research and collaboration, that will inform transformative learning and professional practice that challenge conventional attitudes and practices and promote respectful and effective intercultural communication, cross-cultural intelligence, diversity and inclusion, within a world that is increasingly interconnected digitally.
The Interculturality for Diversity and Global Learning Research Group's research on intercultural communication encompasses a number of local and global concerns across different disciplines including:
- widening participation,
- educational policy and practice within and increasingly global and digitalized higher education institutions,
- transformative and effective leadership,
- clinical communication,
- science innovation,
- forced migration,
- eradication of gender-based violence for sustainable communities.
