Description

SCOLMA is the UK Libraries and Archives Group on Africa, a forum for librarians, archivists and others concerned with African studies materials in libraries and archives in the United Kingdom. It publishes a journal, runs a directory of African studies libraries, organises conferences and seminars, and networks with other librarians, archivists and researchers, in the UK, Europe, Africa and the US.

Its journal, Africa Bibliography, Research and Documentation, is a joint publication with the International African Institute, published by Cambridge University Press. SCOLMA is a registered charity, and its membership is for individuals.
