London and East of England Arts and Humanities Doctoral Landscape Awards Hub (LEAH)
ActiveDescription
The LEAH DLA (London and East of England Arts and Humanities Doctoral Landscape Awards) Hub is led by King's College London and brings together 12 Higher Education Institutions across the region: King's College London, Birkbeck, Queen Mary University of London, the Royal College of Art, SOAS, University College London, the University of the Arts London and the universities of Cambridge, East Anglia, Essex, Hertfordshire and Westminster. Each Hub institution offers 15 doctoral studentships across five cohorts over eight years through the AHRC Doctoral Landscape scheme, and the first cohort begins in October 2026. The Hub's award, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council from March 2026 to September 2034, describes a management committee comprising representatives from each of the partner institutions and a Hub-led core programme of training, sharing existing training already available through members in addition to new training activities to be commissioned by the Hub. The Hub reports a disciplinary spread that takes in practice-led research and Digital Humanities alongside more traditional humanities fields.
