FIVE LEAF: Institute for Law and Aesthetics is an interdisciplinary research institute dedicated to law and aesthetics at Queen Mary University of London, based in the Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS) in the School of Law. It describes itself as dedicated to the study of commercial law through arts and humanities methodologies, taking an aesthetic lens to the law to ensure the resilience and flourishing of cultural work and life, through research, education and engagement. Founded in 2026, it draws its members from across Queen Mary, and its work is supported by an advisory group.

Its members research, publish and teach across fashion and luxury, film art, film law and production, photography and visual theory, theatre and performing arts, performance art, live art and ethology, architecture and heritage, and cultural and legal theory. Current projects include THRIFt (The Human Rights in Fashion), an interdisciplinary research network in human rights and fashion with academics, researchers, creatives, economists, scientists, industry, non-governmental organisations and brands. The institute is also home to the Film Fashion Forum, an occasional series of creative-led events established in 2022. Its own programme of LEAFLETS sessions, lectures and conferences began in 2026, and a FIVE LEAF Festival is set for 3 November 2026.
