Description

The Centre for Internet Law and Policy is a research centre in the Law School at the University of Strathclyde, working on internet law, data protection, intellectual property and the regulation of technology. It has a named director, centre members, affiliated researchers and doctoral students, and runs a visiting researcher programme. The law school states that it is home to the UK's first masters programme in information technology, taught since 1991. The centre has submitted written evidence to a UK parliamentary committee on human rights, and its members publish in its field.
