The John Buchan Story
ActiveDescription
The John Buchan Story is a museum in Peebles devoted to the writer, historian and statesman John Buchan, run by the John Buchan Heritage Museum Trust. Established in its present form in 2011, it holds a collection of books, letters, photographs and personal material relating to Buchan and his family, and its governing purposes commit it to maintaining an archive available to academic researchers and others. It publishes a catalogued digital archive of that material on its own website alongside the displays in Peebles. The separate John Buchan Society, a membership body for readers and scholars of his work, supports the museum.
