Ceòlas Uibhist is a Gaelic arts, language and culture organisation based at Daliburgh in South Uist, founded in 1996 and best known for its annual summer school in Gaelic traditional music, song and dance. It runs a year-round programme of classes, events and language activity, leads the Uist Gaelic stakeholder group that produced the islands first local Gaelic language plan, and receives multi-year funding from Creative Scotland. It hosts a validated immersion-year course delivered with the University of Glasgow, contributes to the Uist Unearthed archaeology project, and is a partner in a jointly supervised doctoral studentship with the University of the Highlands and Islands. It operates from Cnoc Soilleir, a Gaelic culture and education centre it developed with the local college.
