South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture is a Scottish charitable incorporated organisation delivering cultural, library and leisure services on behalf of South Lanarkshire Council. It took culture into its remit in 2010 and converted from a charitable company to its present form in 2023. Its museum service is centred on Low Parks Museum in Hamilton, whose Sir Harry Lauder collection was recognised by Museums Galleries Scotland as a collection of national significance in 2022. It provides local and family history reference collections through four of its libraries, and has secured conservation funding from the National Manuscripts Conservation Trust to conserve the earliest volume of the Lanark Burgh Records, a six-volume set of primary manuscript material. The council's own archives and records centre is a separate service, and this organisation directs archive enquiries to it.
