Description

Alchemy Film & Arts is an artist film and moving image organisation based in Hawick in the Scottish Borders. It runs a residencies programme that it describes as supporting the generation of new knowledge through long-form, practice-led research, an annual experimental film and moving image festival, and Oor Ain Film Archive, a public online platform for local screen heritage. Its year-round work also includes community filmmaking, skills and creative learning programmes in the Borders. The organisation holds Creative Scotland multi-year funding for the period 2025 to 2028.
