Biggar Museum Trust
ActiveDescription
Biggar Museum Trust runs the Biggar Museum in South Lanarkshire, collecting and recording the archaeology and social history of Biggar and Upper Clydesdale across some 14,000 years. Registered as a charity in 1971 and now constituted as a charitable company, it grew out of the Gladstone Court Museum, which opened to the public in 1968, and moved into its present building on Biggar High Street in 2015. Researchers can arrange access to the collections in person by appointment.
