Description

Vivid Projects is a media practice based arts organisation, founded in 2012 and based in Birmingham, that works with under-represented artists and contemporary media arts practices. It supports artists through mentoring, residencies and a development programme, alongside exhibitions, community events and stewardship of a regional media archive documenting works produced by antecedent Birmingham media arts organisations between 1984 and 2011. It builds long term relationships with artists and champions new voices across digital media, film, performance, sound, social practice, installation and live coding. A not for profit organisation, it is an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation, supported using public funding by Arts Council England.
