Description

BLAM UK (Black Learning Achievement and Mental Health) is a London-based not-for-profit community interest company, founded in 2017, working on Black British history education, racial wellness and educational equity. Its activities include a Black history education programme and app, anti-racism training and curriculum work for schools and institutions, group therapy for racial wellness, and advocacy and legal support around school exclusions. It also runs research and campaigning strands, including a curriculum-research report on anti-Blackness in education and an AI Accountability Project examining the impact of surveillance and predictive policing technologies on Black communities.
