CULTVR Lab

Description

CULTVR is a not-for-profit immersive-arts venue and cross-disciplinary lab in Cardiff, established in 2019, presenting and developing work in virtual reality, extended reality, fulldome cinema and live immersive performance. It supports artistic and career development in immersive technologies, breaking down barriers of access and engagement, and hosts a group of resident creative companies. Through its Catalyst 360 programme it runs XR artist residencies, it acts as a delivery partner for Media Cymru's immersive research and development challenge fund, and its Unlocking XR skills programme works with Welsh universities and colleges. CULTVR is supported by public funding from Arts Council of Wales, Creative Wales and the Welsh Government.
