Peckham Digital
ActiveDescription
Peckham Digital is a not-for-profit community interest company that runs an annual festival of creative computing in Peckham, south-east London. First held in 2021, the festival brings together exhibitions, talks, workshops, meetups, demonstrations, live coding and audio-visual performances exploring creative computing, generative and algorithmic art, artificial intelligence and glitch art. It works in close partnership with the University of the Arts London Creative Computing Institute and is supported by public funding through Arts Council England and the National Lottery. Alongside the festival it runs a youth programme, Music x Code, for young people not in education or employment, and produces a podcast on the history of digital and computer art.
