Future Screens NI
ActiveDescription
Future Screens NI is a Northern Ireland creative industries research and development partnership, established in 2018 as one of nine AHRC Creative Industries Clusters funded through UK Research and Innovation. Led by Ulster University with Queen's University Belfast, it connects academic research with the screen sector across film and broadcast, animation, games, and immersive technologies. It delivers research and development funding awards, technical skills training and business growth support to creative companies across Northern Ireland. Following its original UK Research and Innovation cluster grant, its network activity has continued with support from the Department for Communities and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, currently funded to 2027.
