School of Innovation and Technology, The Glasgow School of Art

Active

Description

The School of Innovation and Technology is one of the academic schools of The Glasgow School of Art, formed in 2023 through the merger of the former Innovation School and the School of Simulation and Visualisation. It combines design innovation with simulation, visualisation and immersive technologies, spanning product and service design, virtual and extended reality, sound, and applications in health and cultural heritage. Its research is delivered across studios and facilities including an Ambisonic Soundlab developed with Arup, and it hosts the Digital Health and Care Institute, run jointly with the University of Strathclyde.
