Centre for Digital Scholarship, Bodleian Libraries (CDS)
ActiveDescription
The Centre for Digital Scholarship is a hub within the Bodleian Libraries at the University of Oxford, based in the Weston Library, for translating digital technologies into multidisciplinary academic practice and public engagement. Established in 2015 with support from the University of Oxford's John Fell Fund, it supports researchers across the University and beyond through research data management and repository services, digital editions such as the Electronic Enlightenment correspondence project, and training and events in digital humanities methods. It co-directs the Digital Humanities at Oxford Summer School and runs introductory digital humanities workshops, working across the humanities, sciences, social sciences and the wider collections. The Centre is organised into four teams covering sustainable digital scholarship, the Electronic Enlightenment project, events, and research and innovation.
