Juris Diversitas
ActiveDescription
Juris Diversitas is an international, interdisciplinary association for the study of legal and normative mixtures and movements, founded in 2007. Originally a community of comparatists, it has broadened its conversation to include anthropologists, geographers, historians, philosophers, and sociologists, both within law and beyond. The association encourages interdisciplinary research through meetings, publications, and co-operation with like-minded individuals, associations, entities, and institutions of a private and public nature. It publishes a book series and holds general and specialised conferences. It is constituted as an association under Article 60 et seq. of the Swiss Civil Code, with its seat at the Swiss Institute of Comparative Law in Lausanne-Dorigny, Switzerland.
