Healing Justice Ldn
ActiveDescription
Healing Justice Ldn (Healing Justice London) is a London-based, community-led organisation building the capacities, skills, and infrastructures needed to support community-centred health and healing. Led by people of colour and people with lived experience, it engages the "healing justice" framework through relational events and support programming, training and nurturing a network of somatic practitioners embedded in social movements, narrative-change interventions, and community-led and participatory research. Its work is grounded in abolitionist principles, somatics and embodied practice, disability justice, and conditions-informed (trauma-informed) practice, spanning events, training, transdisciplinary research, creative and cultural practice, and structural interventions such as the Deaths by Welfare project. It describes its approach as "propositional work" (building and remembering alternative infrastructures, knowledges, and practices) and is working towards a ten-year strategy culminating in a physical "cultural health centre" test site.
