Immigration Law Practitioners' Association (ILPA)

Active

Description

The Immigration Law Practitioners' Association (ILPA) is a professional association and registered charity whose members are mainly barristers, solicitors, advocates and IAA-regulated advisers working across immigration, asylum and nationality law, alongside academics, non-governmental organisations and others with a substantial interest in the law. Founded in 1984, the Association promotes and improves advice and representation in this field through an extensive training programme, information dissemination, and research and opinion drawn from members' experience. It sits on numerous governmental, official and non-governmental advisory groups and regularly submits evidence to parliamentary and official enquiries.
