Migrants' Rights Network
ActiveDescription
The Migrants' Rights Network is a UK charity that works alongside migrants in their fight for rights and justice, standing in solidarity with all migrants. It co-curates campaigns using anti-oppression practices to create transformational change that tackles oppression at its source, and calls for systems it regards as foundationally discriminatory to be overhauled by people with lived experience. Its work includes raising awareness among policymakers and the media, building campaigns and links with legal experts to pursue strategic litigation, building an evidence base by co-curating with affected migrants, promoting partnership between causes, informing migrant communities of their rights through tailored resources and training, and developing alternative narratives to counter harmful rhetoric around migration. The organisation focuses particularly on issues affecting migrant groups that are seldom heard.
