AI & Algorithmic Cultures is a research group at the Centre for Postdigital Cultures, Coventry University, launched in June 2021. The group achieves research excellence by combining technical innovation with multicultural, critical, and creative research to address important societal and environmental issues related to AI and algorithmic cultures. The infrastructure's approach involves questioning the terms 'artificial', 'intelligence', 'machine', and 'learning', then exploring dimensions of creativity, intentions, interpretation, translation, automation, augmentation, discrimination and classification, imitation, and models, including mental models.
