Language, Literature and Politics Research Group, The Open University
Description
The Language, Literature and Politics research group is a cross-faculty, interdisciplinary initiative that provides a platform for sharing research.
The aim of the group is to investigate the relationship between language, literature (literary criticism and creative writing) and politics in the widest variety of contexts. Our seminars and events provide a space to examine contemporary political events through writing - literary, critical, and political.
Our members are drawn from numerous disciplines, including English literature, creative writing, social sciences, languages, and linguistics. The group is a joint project of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, and the Faculty of Wellbeing, Education and Language Studies at The Open University.
