Private law is a prominent area of expertise at Oxford University. The community of private law scholars, comprising numerous postgraduate students, conducts groundbreaking research across various subjects and employs diverse methodologies.

The Obligations Discussion Group and Property Law Discussion Group, led by postgraduate students, hold established online events that attract participants from around the world.
