Centre for Competition Law and Policy
Description
The University of Oxford Centre for Competition Law and Policy (CCLP) serves as a centralised platform for teaching and researching competition law and policy at the University of Oxford. Its activities and courses focus on regulating competition in the UK, EU, and US, as well as exploring international aspects of competition law and antitrust economics.
Through Conferences, Workshops, Discussion Forums, and an Online Papers and Materials Database, the CCLP facilitates the exchange of views on competition law and policy among scholars and practitioners.
In collaboration with the Journal of Antitrust Enforcement, the CCLP organises the annual Antitrust Enforcement Symposium. It also features the 'Guest Lecture Programme,' where prominent practitioners and academics discuss recent topics in competition law and policy. Additionally, the Centre offers training programs for competition officials and operates a voluntary program on 'The Value of Competition.'
Moreover, the CCLP houses a research project focusing on Competition Policy and Economic Inequality.
