Brigstow Institute, Bristol

Description

The Brigstow Institute's vision is to transform the way people research all aspects of what it means to be human in the 21st century. This is done by enabling more equitable and relevant research that includes diverse voices and knowledge.

Brigstow brings researchers from different disciplines together with a range of partners across the city and beyond to experiment in new ways of living and being. Brigstow's research is underpinned by a commitment to a distinctive way of working that foregrounds interdisciplinary, co-produced research with – and not just for – external partners, and an emphasis on ‘critical making’ as a research methodology.
