The Central and East European Research Centre at Cardiff University promotes and supports research into Central and Eastern Europe, including Russia and Ukraine.

Engaging with the wider world, the Centre links Cardiff-based research on Central Europe and Eastern Europe with public impact and policy. Our members are often asked for expert opinions in the press. The Centre is based in the School of History, Archaeology and Religion at Cardiff University, but brings together scholarship from across Cardiff University's various departments, schools and colleges.
